Memorial Day Getaway

Looking for a fun and exciting way to get your summer started? Join us on the Schooner Timberwind for a 3 day weekend adventure or aboard the Schooner J&E Riggin for a 4 day sailing excursion to celebrate the start of summer!

Lighthouses & Lobsters - Multiple Dates

With over 60 lighthouses in Maine and over 20 in our sailing grounds, join us for a wonderful adventure filled with historic lighthouses (some that can only be seen by boat), and of course what Maine vacation isn't complete without lobster! We will enjoy an oceanside lobster bake on the beach or uninhabited island. So grab your camera and your appetite and join us for a 3 day trip June 4th - 6th; a 6 day trip June 23rd - 28th; or a 4 day trip August 20th - 23rd.

Weekend Getaway - Multiple Dates

We wanted to make it easy for just about anyone to experience the peaceful fun of Windjamming along the Maine coast. Board Thursday night and enjoy a full day of sailing Friday and Saturday and be back on Sunday in time for you to return home relaxed and rejuvenated.

It's All About the Food Cruises - Multiple Dates

Come and learn from Captain/Chef Annie Mahle's 25 years in the kitchen. Learn how to build flavor, improvise with ingredients you have available and utilize different herbs and flowers from your garden to make creative dishes. The menu will focus on fresh, organic, and garden grown ingredients, 100% of which will be procured within a 100 mile radius. All the menus will showcase Annie's love for seasonal and quality ingredients.

Come sail for 4 days, June 7th - 10th; 3 days, July 21st - 23rd; or 6 days, September 15th - 20th.

Schooner Gam

Whether you have a whole week or a few days to get away, relive the age of sail with our 19th century style sailing ships. Rendezvous (Gam) and sail among some of the oldest historic ships still sailing Maine waters during this windjammer cruise. Course and destination is determined by weather and tide of the day. Raft-Up!

Great Schooner Race - June 30th - July 5th

More than two-dozen tall ships will gather for the 31st anniversary of the Great Schooner Race. Think fast thoughts and crew for a full day helping your captain and ship sail to victory. This is one of the largest gatherings of tall ships annually in North America. Raft-Up!

Maine Windjammer Parade - July 7th - 12th

Join the entire windjammer fleet in a parade of sail past the mile-long Rockland Breakwater. Gathering spectators will be treated to a close up view of Maine's Tall Ship fleet. Tour the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse as part of the festivities. A festive cruise vacation on the coast of Maine!

Music Cruise - July28th - August 2nd

On every windjammer cruise, there's always live music, but on one special evening, more than a dozen musicians will perform during a fleet-wide "raft-up." Guests will enjoy musical talents ranging from sea chanteys and blues to story telling and folk.

Swan's Island Music Festival - August 4th - 9th

For the musical windjammer cruise,a wide range of musical styles throughout the week from chanteys to blues, folk and story telling. We will gather with other schooners for live shipboard performances. Raft-Up!

Camden Windjammer Days - August 25th - 30th

Be part of the parade of sail as Camden Harbor plays host to the gathering fleet during the anticipated Windjammer Days. In turn each schooner will be greeted by awaiting spectators in a staging ceremony. Tour other tall ships at rest and enjoy the flag raising ceremonies, live music, dancing, the schooner bum talent show and fireworks. Raft-Up!

Wooden Boat Week - September 8th - 13th

Enjoy the fall gathering of the Maine windjammer fleet in Brooklin, Maine home of Wooden Boat Magazine and The Wooden Boat School. If you've ever wondered what our harbors looked like in the days of sail, this is a trip you won't want to miss! Festivities include tours of the school, with live music and refreshments.

Perfect Health Cruise - September 15th - 20th

Learn how to bring mind-body balance, health and nourishment into your life with Perfect Health based on the Chopra Center Ayurvedic Lifestyle Program and led by Chopra Center Certified Instructor Dawn Tassi.

Photography Cruise - September 29th - October 4th

Learn about taking pictures at sunset, marine photography, problem solving, understanding your camera, the nature of light and taking excellent photos in inclement weather. Join Frank M. Chillemi, a professional photographer and author of Windjammers, Lighthouses and Other Treasures of the Maine Coast.
